High Intensity Grade (HIG)

This sheeting is made of two layers, which gives it a name- Encapsulated lens. The outer layer is translucent pigmented and inner layer is reflective layer faced with glass beads. To connect both layers, a lattice is used which gives it a distinctive 'honeycomb' appearance. Lattice pattern is its identification mark. It cost the twice that of Type I and has an average service life of ten year.
